We acted as Solicitors to the Issue in respect of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc’s rights issue by way of Shelf Registration (equity) with a view to raising N40 Billion.

Acted as Solicitors to the Transaction in respect of Flour Mills of Nigeria’s N70 Billion Bond Issuance Programme.

The Largest Single Financial Transaction in Nigerian Financial History

TNP acted as joint-solicitors to the Issuer (Series II Bonds) in the Asset Management Company of Nigeria’s (“AMCON”) N2.067 Trillion, Zero Coupon Series II Bonds issued under the N4.5 Trillion AMCON Debt Issuance Program;

The Greensprings Investments

TNP advised Verod Capital in the set-up of a specialist investment platform to invest in schools across West Africa and acted as Local Counsel on its first investment on the platform – Greensprings Educational Services, a Nigerian-based education provider.

Enforcement of International Award under the New York Convention

Obtained judgment in favour of a client over a New York Convention enforcement suit instituted at the Federal High Court towards enforcing an International Arbitration Award made in London for sums in excess of US$ 3 Million (Three Million United States Dollars);

Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc. v. Nigeria Customs Service Board [2016] LPELR-41256 (CA)

Acted as counsel to Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc. (FMN) in this appeal and successfully persuaded the Court of Appeal to set aside a judgment of the Federal High Court which had awarded damages in excess of N120 Million against FMN.
