TNP Internship Policy
Overview
Our Internship Programme offers highly motivated individuals an opportunity to be exposed to the practice of law in a highly professional environment. It is designed to provide an inspiring experience, develop leadership attributes in young adults and assist them in realising their full potentials.Internship Classifications
Secondary/High School Work Experience/Internship
This program is aimed at Senior Secondary School students who have indicated interest in the field of law. It provides an enriching environment to learn more about the legal field.Eligibility
- Be a student in SS1 and above
- Be not less than 14 years old
- Be smart, teachable and a fast learner
- Require more than one (1) week work experience
Undergraduate Internship
The Undergraduate Internship program is for candidates currently pursuing a university degree. The prospective candidate must have completed at least the first year of university in the study of law.Eligibility
- Have an equivalent of second class upper degree grade in Law (CGPA of 3.5 or higher)
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Internship duration is for a minimum of four (4) weeks
Graduate Internship
The Graduate program is open to fresh graduates seeking work experience while waiting for law school placement/NYSC posting.Eligibility
- Have a minimum of second class upper degree grade in Law
- Be a pre NYSC or Pre Law School Student
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Internship duration is for a minimum of four (4) weeks
Application Process
TNP offers internship once a year between June – September each year. The Application period is between 1st December to 28th February each year The application process will occur online. All documents should be sent via email to careers@tnp.com.ngOR
All documents should be uploaded via the career portal on TNP’s website. We will not accept any paper cv and/or documents.Secondary/High School Internship
A letter from the Schools Head of School/Principal stating:- The dates/period for internship
- The names of students
Undergraduate Internship
Your application will be complete when the following materials are submitted- An Up-to-date Curriculum Vitae indicating your current CGPA
- A Cover letter
- A letter of recommendation from course adviser, head lecturer or professor.
Graduate Internship
Your application will be complete when the following materials are submitted- An Up-to-date Curriculum Vitae indicating your current CGPA
- An Official Transcript or statement of result from your University
- A letter of recommendation from your course adviser, head lecturer or professor.
